Pantheon of Kaliteth
Main: Kaliteth | Priest Spells
Within the world of Halomaed, there are nine deities, entities who possess supreme, god-like powers, known by humanity as The Divines. Believed to be both the creators of the world and the shepherds of all life, each is aligned with an aspect of existence and holds powers associated with that aspect.
Religious scripture claims that The Divines do not possess physical bodies but can assume an avatar form if they choose to interact directly with the people of the world.
The Church of the Divines
Priests
Priests of The Divines, also known as Channelers of Divine Powers, during their initiation into the church, must endure a trial of fasting and prayer, during which they will be chosen by one of the nine divines. The initiate surrenders himself to service of the divine and establishes the pact which entitles the initiate to receive the blessing of the divine as well as the right to use divine magic.
