The lighthouse has great magic. The lighthouse had a specific purpose, not of this plane. The lake had an additional purpose to give guidance across the planes. The lighthouse could make itself known with the right combination to draw things / repel things / to reach across planes. A nexus of ways between planes. No matter where you were in the multiverse, you could find the Lighthouse of Tiarnos.
