Hidden Lore specializations exist for the eight categories (beasts, aquatic monsters, demons, dragons, elementals, humanoid hybrid monsters, insectoid monsters, undead), providing greater and more specific knowledge of these creatures.

Beasts

These include natural, non-magical, animals native to the world and are often aggressive towards humans when encountered in the wilderness. Many of these creatures could potentially be suffering from, or a carrier of, some form of contagious disease.
