The territory of Mærtosh, the lands entitled to the Great House of Mærtosh, lies on the southwestern end of the Leginon region of Kaliteth. The territory is bordered to the northwest by the territory of Pelinör, to the northeast by the territory of Kaiden, to the southeast by the Sea of Corcoran, and to the southwest by the Sea of Fyr Duwin. The eastern coast is a cursed land known as the Black Coast, the lands which were once the capital of the Empire, utterly destroyed during the Fall.
Mærtosh has long been considered to be the Jewel of Kaliteth, having some of the most fertile farmlands, fair weather, and positioned centrally to all trade routes of Kaliteth.
