This game “world” is based primarily on the FireFly TV series, but including elements from the Star Wars and Blade Runner movies, and the Freelancer PC game, incorporating a blending of sci-fi, wild-west, pirates and cyberpunk genres.
The Hoshiko Cluster is star system comprised of five companion stars located in a cluster of the Halcón Nebula, approximately 32 light-years from Earth. Colonization of the system began in the year 2120, first by the Latino Consortium, then followed shortly after by ships from the European Union, People’s Republic of China, Arabian Union and Russian Federation.
